The entrance area of Muppet Studios is Henson Studios. So named after Jim Henson, the creator of the Muppets (if that wasn't clear enough).
The park will share a similar entrance to the Muppet Studios of the 2011 Muppet film. Although the sign won't appear as dilapidated.
The sides of Henson street are lined with the area's two restaurants, Jim's (a sit-down restaurant featuring artifacts of Jim Henson) and Swedish Chef Catering Co (a basic counter service restaurant), exhibits; The Jim Henson Story (featuring Henson historical artifacts and a short historical film similar to the Walt Disney Story), the Muppet Archives (a Muppet Hall of Fame, similar to the ATAS Exhibit at DHS, featuring rooms with Muppet Meet and Greets. The unique meet and greet experience will have you interacting with actual puppets performed by hidden puppeteers) and the park's mega store, The Muppet Studio Store. I based this off the design of Disney Hollywood Studio's Hollywood Boulevard.
At the end of the street will be the Muppet Theater (Albeit standing alone and much larger and glorified) which houses the park's signature attraction, the Great Muppet Movie Ride.
The queue will take you inside the theater, where the main lobby will be lined with Muppet-ized movie posters.
Then you'll enter the main house, where you'll walk down the aisles of the theater while a screen shows Muppet-ized movie trailers, projected from a booth featuring the Swedish Chef (a nod to Muppet-Vision 3D). You'll then take a turn out into a back alley, where you enter through the back door of the theater (where the guest stars usually came in on the Muppet Show) and the "backstage" area of the theater will serve as the load area.
The ride takes you through scenes of classic movies (featuring the Muppets, of course) including:
-Star Wars
-Ghostbusters
-Back to the Future
-Casablanca
-Mary Poppins
-Indiana Jones
-Jurassic Park
The ride ends with a montage of Muppet TV and Film clips, as in the Great Movie Ride, then exits into the Muppets at the movies gift shop.
The other attraction in the area is The Muppet Show: Now Filming. These are actually three mini-attractions combined into one. Guests can choose to explore the galaxy with the Pigs in Space, cook with the Swedish Chef, and partake in a humorous operation in Veterinarian's Hospital. The characters on screen will interact with the guests, similar to Turtle Talk with Crush and Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor.
Stick around for Part 2 of Muppet Studios: Muppet Labs Park.
that was great!
